About these terms

These terms apply to LauncherLevelling, provided by POPBOX (PTY) LTD, trading as PopboxTech. Contact us at dev@popboxtech.com with questions about the app or your purchase.

These terms describe the conditions for using the app alongside the terms that apply to your Google Play purchase. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

One purchase, no subscription

LauncherLevelling is a one-time paid download. There is no recurring subscription charge from us for the app. The price, local currency and any applicable taxes are displayed by Google Play before you buy.

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app through your Google Play entitlement. It does not transfer ownership of the software, branding or other intellectual property. Download and reinstallation remain subject to Google Play availability, your account and device compatibility.

Refund requests are handled under Google Play’s refund policies and applicable consumer law. You can also contact us for purchase support. Mandatory rights for defective or misdescribed digital products remain unaffected.

Productivity features and your control

The app combines quests, ranks, focus Dungeons, an app drawer and optional app blocking. XP, ranks, attributes and Punishment Zones are fictional motivational features. They have no monetary value and do not establish a medical, educational or professional assessment.

Optional punishment is off by default. When enabled, missed eligible daily tasks can trigger a timed zone after your chosen daily reset. Review the settings and choose routines that suit you. Essential-app exemptions and emergency escape controls are provided; you can disable App Guard through Android settings.

App blocking and reminders depend on your permissions, device configuration and Android behaviour. They are not guaranteed to prevent every app launch or distraction, and are not parental-control, emergency or security services. Do not rely on the app for safety-critical reminders or to guarantee access to an essential service.

Your content and local progress

You retain rights in your own quest text, journal entries and other content. You are responsible for entering content you are entitled to use. The app processes this content to provide its local features as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Progress is stored on your device without an online account or cloud sync. Clearing app storage, uninstalling the app, or losing the device can permanently remove it. Reinstalling a purchased app does not restore deleted gameplay data.

Permissions are optional and can be revoked. Choosing a different default launcher or disabling App Guard may change which features work.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and on devices you own or are authorised to manage. Do not use it to control another person’s access without their informed permission, infringe others’ rights, distribute malicious content or misrepresent the app as your own.

Do not redistribute or commercially resell the app or its assets without permission. This restriction does not limit activities that applicable law permits, or rights granted under licences for included open-source components.

Updates and availability

We may release fixes and improvements, and features may evolve as Android changes. A one-time purchase does not promise compatibility with every device or every future Android version. Any updates or remedies required by applicable law remain available as required.

We will describe material changes to the app or these terms through appropriate notices. The version date on this page identifies the current terms. Changes do not remove rights that already apply to your purchase under mandatory law.

Responsibility and consumer rights

We aim to provide a useful and reliable app, but do not promise a particular productivity outcome or uninterrupted, error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by misuse, unsupported device changes or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or excludes applicable guarantees, refund rights and other consumer protections. These terms do not impose compulsory arbitration or prevent you from using courts or complaint channels available under applicable law.
